The Lilac Tree

The Lilac Tree is a zine featuring eight poems by painter and poet Adi Dahlke.

Whereas The Lilac Tree's predecessor, Girls I've Loved, lived solely in the realm of romance and heartbreak, The Lilac Tree concerns itself with a different kind of intimacy altogether.

Just like Girls I've Loved, The Lilac Tree is available on a pay-what-you-want basis! Suggested donation is $2.50 USD per copy, but anything is welcome!

And yes, this ships internationally!

To order, type in the number of zines you'd like to order below, then press "buy now." On the following page, you can decide how much you'd like to pay and use Paypal to checkout!

The Lilac Tree is now out of print. Sorry!

Praise for Girls I've Loved:

"Dahlke’s striking debut dredges the depths of love- from infatuation to gentleness, to voracious desire, to pain and resentment. At once ferocious and tender, Girls I’ve Loved imprints an immediate mark upon the landscape of contemporary poetry." - My ex-girlfriend

"Rocked my entire world. Inspired me to write again." - Emily, student at Wheaton

"I just got this in the mail, and…wow. It’s absolutely lovely. It’s sweet and soft and needing and angry and bursting with love in all Her forms. This is the little book of poems my heart didn’t know it needed." -Delphi, Tumblr user
